Shane Kelly takes favorite comfort food dishes and makes them more wholesome, as in her vegetarian Chili Mole recipe.

In this video, Shane recalls the sour cream-laden chili of her youth, and then whips up a healthier homemade version with an international touch. By stirring in such ingredients as tomatoes, onions, chili pepper, garlic, and, most importantly, chocolate and cinnamon, Shane gives her chili the complex flavors of a Mexican mole sauce. This dish -- chock-full of hearty vegetables and beans -- is so tasty, you'll never miss the gobs of sour cream and cheese.
