20 Frozen Pops and Ice Cream Sandwiches

Cool down this summer with a pop or ice cream sandwich straight from the freezer. With the start of backyard barbecue season, it's the right time to perfect your pop-making skills. Pops and ice cream sandwiches are easy to make and you don't always need pop molds-ice cube trays or paper cups work well too. It's also a fun activity for kids!

Our recipes include easy ice pops made with various summer fruits and a few grown-up versions, which include a bit of alcohol for added punch. We have homemade versions of ice cream sandwiches as well as recipes made with store-bought ingredients. Bite into one of these pops or ice cream sandwiches. Childhood memories of ice cream running down your arm do last forever.

Why is it when I make ice pops from fruit juice (I usually use orange juice) they come out tasting like water? I would love to make these types of snacks but I never seem to have any luck with them.
