How to Make Beer Can Chicken

Just bought a few beer can chicken racks at Bed Bath & Beyond ($5.99ea.) Not exactly the same as in the video, but seem sturdy enough at about 7" across the base. Will give them a test run tomorrow. The instructions also suggested stuffing a small onion or potato in the neck cavity to seal in vapors.

Weber makes a beer can chicken kit that works great. Been doing them for 5+ years. Sour mash works great too.

Where did they get that stable beer can stand that is flat on the bottom? Some other stands have issues with the base and grills. Thanks. Ron

Bett25 still-- start your grill at 500' Put the chicken and reduce the heat to 250' and cook for 2 or more hours. Best ever. Oh, put some fresh herbs under the skin. Joy

You can buy the little stand to hold the can through Cabelas. They have one that hold s 2 cans also.
