New York City will never taste so sweet again ... literally. Say goodbye to super-sized sodas and other sugary drinks you love. As of Thursday, New York City health officials are expected to put a 16-ounce limit on any sugary drinks being sold at restaurants, theaters and delis.

Mayor Bloomberg originally proposed the regulation, which a panel of health experts approved after months of review. The ban includes non-diet sodas, sweetened teas and other beverages. However, the ban does not reach supermarkets or convenience stores.
