Preheat the oven to 325° F. Line a shallow roasting pan with aluminum foil. Place ham, cut-side down, on a rack in the prepared pan. Cover ham loosely with foil. Bake 2 hours.

Increase oven temperature to 350° F. In a small bowl, stir together the sugar, chili powder, cinnamon, allspice, and clove. Brush the surface of the ham with mustard and pat the brown sugar mixture all over the skin. Return ham to oven and continue cooking, uncovered, until sugar is melted and caramelized, about 30 minutes longer. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

I have never baked a ham for dinner.
Ham is something that we usually have for breakfast with eggs!
I'd like to try this recipe to serve with scalloped potatoes.
Is there any gravy or sauce produced from this method of baking ham?
If not - does anyone know of a gravy or sauce that could be made to go with this menu?
