Buttercream Frosting for Decorating

Ingredients
Directions
Blend butter and shortening together until well blended and creamy.
Add vanilla and milk, and blend to combine.
Add confectioners' sugar, 1 cup at a time, blending well.
If frosting is too thin, add more sugar, 1/4 cup at a time, until desired consistency is achieved. If frosting is too thick, add small amounts of milk until desired consistency is achieved. Frosting should hold its form but still be soft enough to work with.
Makes enough frosting for 24 cupcakes.
