Ingredients

Serves:

    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 1 small onion
    • 3/4 cup water
    • 1 pkg. TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINAL® Taco Seasoning Mix
    • 2 cups corn chips
    • 1/4 lb. VELVEETA Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product
    • 2 cups lettuce
    • 2 tomatoes

Directions

1.Brown meat with onions in large skillet; drain. Add water and seasoning mix; cook as directed on package.

2.Cover meat mixture with chips and VELVEETA; cover. Cook on low heat 5 min. or until VELVEETA is melted.

3.Top with lettuce and tomatoes.

My kids really enjoyed this dish. I added a generous dollop of low fat sour cream and our favorite restaurant style salsa. I also used 2% cheese to help reduce the calories a bit. Didn't hurt the flavor though! I intend to try this again using ground turkey and chicken!
