Ingredients

Serves:

Directions

In a large bowl mix the lamb, pork, garlic powder, salt, cumin, pepper, oregano and paprika in a bowl. With wet hands to prevent sticking, form the mixture into 2-inch balls.

Heat the oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Working in batches, add the meatballs and sauté until cooked through, about 4 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels.

Serve with bread and butter pickles, sliced tomato, mustard, mayonnaise, seared jalapeno, pickled red onion.

These look good, but the recipe is lacking real information about the ingredients. Chroizo? Not, while it is seasoned pork, these are far from chrorizo sliders. Better off to get some real Mexican Chorizo (local markets), and mix it w/ ground beef.

I agree with Coffematetoo...I have never been able to find slider size buns (brioche or any other) even at Whole Foods.

He used a dinner roll and sliced it in half. Most restaurants, who make gourmet sliders, use a dinner roll. Other facilities use mini buns that you can find in the store

You're making your own chorizo by mixing the meats with the spices. Sounds awesome.

I would love a lamb burger as I had in Izmir,Turkey..It was when I was young. I can't find a Turkish restaurant who makes these..It would have particular ingrediants that work with a ground lamb combo..Best thing I EVER ate:)
