1 Tbsp butter
8 oz fresh or canned lump crab meat
4 Tbsp mayonnaise
½ tsp lemon juice
¼ cup diced celery
1 Tbsp chopped scallion
1 Tbsp chopped fresh dill
ground black pepper
4 slice Swiss cheese
Preheat broiler. Toast and butter bread. In a medium bowl, combine all remaining ingredients except cheese. Mix until thick and creamy.
Divide crab mixture evenly between bread slices. Top each with 2 cheese slices. Broil 2 to 3 minutes, or until cheese begins to bubble and melt. Serve warm.
