Ingredients

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2. In a medium bowl combine peanut butter sugar and egg. Beat ingredients together until the mixture becomes blended and smooth.

3. Shape dough into balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

4. Place dough balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

5. Press one chocolate star atop each cookie.

6. Bake cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies become set. Remove from oven.

7. Remove cookies from sheet and place on wire racks until completely cooled.

Made these many times. It's my go to recipe. Because, I almost always have the ingredients on hand. minus the chips.

I've made this many times but used regular/white sugar. You can also make balls then roll in crushed nuts or baking coco.

I've made these cookies twice now, the first time I did as the recipe said and loved them. The second time i pressed the cookies down in the center and spooned in some jam (grape or apricot) and they were sensational: peanut butter and jelly cookies!

When I first read this recipe, I thought there was NO way it could be this simple, but it really is! This is a quick easy DELICIOUS recipe!! My daughter's teachers would BEG for these as treats! It is so fast to make too! TRY IT!! We love it!
