A favorite of all ages, this potato side dish is so welcome at any pot luck or family gathering.

Ingredients

Serves: servings

Directions

Stir the soup, sour cream, butter, potatoes, onion and cheese in a 3-quart shallow baking dish.  Season with the black pepper.  Sprinkle with the corn flake crumbs.

Bake at 350°F. for 45 minutes or until the mixture is hot and bubbling.

Out of 20 people today, there was only one complaint. From me, of course. I thought it was a bit oniony, but EVERYONE else thought it was fabulous. I was told that this is the new hasbrown dish for sunday's brunches.

To make this better, I would use a bit less onion. Also make sure that you separate the potatoes or they will end up undercooked.
