We made this and doubled the recipe. Turned out as the best lemonade the kids have ever had. Just throw in some lemon slices for decoration and you're golden!

August 30 2010 at 8:15 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyJoeomar is right. The water should be cut to 2 cups for a good lemonade!
July 03 2010 at 5:36 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWhen I make lemonade, I always add some of the lemon zest. It really gives it more flavor.
July 03 2010 at 2:12 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyComparing to my favorite recipe and a similar one from Cook's Illustrated - the proportion of lemon juice to water is WAY too small. Either the lemon juice should be increased to around 7/8's of a cup, or the water reduced to 2 cups.
May 31 2010 at 11:04 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyMake a simple syrup of the sugar and 1/3 cup of water. Cool and then follow direstions. Easier to combine.
