This peanut butter banana smoothie is great for breakfast or as a healthy dairy-free milkshake. Kefir adds probiotics. Cacao, coconut oil and raw honey are powerful anti-oxidants and full of health benefits.

Ingredients

1 ripe banana 2 tsp peanut butter 1 tsp raw cacao nibs or dark chocolate 70% or higher 1 tsp raw honey½ tsp vanilla½ tsp coarse sea salt1 cup almond milk¼ cup lactose-free kefir (optional) 1 Tbsp extra-virgin coconut oil (optional)

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Puree until smooth. Transfer to a glass and enjoy.
