Southern Buttermilk Marinade

Directions
In a medium nonreactive bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and oil. Add the cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended. The marinade will keep, tightly covered, in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
