Directions
Cook spaghettini in pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to bite. Drain, reserving 1 cup liquid. Return pasta to pot.
Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic; stir 30 seconds. Add bacon and crushed red pepper; sauté until bacon is crisp, about 4 minutes. Add tomatoes; sauté until soft, about 4 minutes.
Transfer tomato mixture to pot with pasta. Add 3/4 cup cheese and 2 tablespoons basil. Toss over medium heat until cheese melts and sauce coats pasta, adding cooking liquid by 1/4 cupfuls if dry. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to bowl. Sprinkle with remaining tablespoon of basil. Serve remaining cheese alongside.

I just paid $24,31 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic GF 1 Camera that we got for $34,26 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 42 inch LED TV to my boss for $678 which only cost me $68,18 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, CentSpace.com

August 01 2011 at 1:48 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThis recipe was good as is, but when you add more of everything it becomes absolutely fantastic! My point is try not to be too stingy on the ingredients. Not everyone is 100 pounds soaking wet or wants to be! Live a little! Eat!
July 05 2011 at 6:11 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyIve made essentially the same recipe & it's great-perfect for hot days when u rather not have the oven heat up the house & it' fast. Only diff was recipe I used called specificaly for Parmigiano Reggiano and used peas instead of tomatoes-recipe called for frozen English peas, but I have used the canned petite pois -just add later and toss carely (also I have done this recipe using the Kirkland(Costco) bacon bits- they come in large bag(when they have them) and work fine in this as well as quiche Lorraine, add to green beans, baked beans, omlets, and many other things- great to have on hand & make this recipe even quicker to complete & no grease to dispose of !

May 12 2011 at 11:56 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWhen this recipe first came out, I made it all the time, it's really good. The hard part was finding the tomatoes! I live in Kansas, so they are not easy to come by.
