White Sangria

Ingredients

Serves:

    • 3 bottles dry white wine
    • 1/2 cup Triple Sec or other orange liqueur
    • 1 1/2 cups no-pulp orange juice
    • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
    • 6 Tbsp sugar, or to taste
    • 4 ripe peaches, cut in thin wedges
    • 2 pt (12 oz each) strawberries, sliced
    • 1 each lemon, lime and orange, cut in thin half-slices
    • 1 Golden Delicious apple,cut in thin wedges
    • 2 trays ice cubes

Directions

Stir first 5 ingredients in a large bowl until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate to chill.

One hour before serving: Pour mixture into pitcher(s); add fruit. Refrigerate.

To serve: Add ice to pitchers.

I agree with the comment about it not needing additional sugar..we use frozen mixed fruit ( bagged from the freezer case of the supermarket) to chill it without diluting it.

I don't see the reason to add sugar! I have made red sangria and put triple sec, orange juice and fruit and it was plenty sweet. Try it without the sugar and you might like it better and it will be less calories. The fruit will make it sweet as well.
